If you wish to provide blood samples outside Tallinn, please inform us when registering for the health examination by indicating the preferred blood collection point in the additional information field.<\/p>

A visit fee is an additional charge that a healthcare service provider is entitled to request from an insured person when providing healthcare services reimbursed by the Estonian Health Insurance Fund.<\/p>

The visit fee is up to 20 euros.<\/p>

The maximum visit fee for a physiotherapist is 5 euros if the service is provided to an insured person who is:<\/p>

\u2013 Under 19 years of age
\u2013 Pregnant (except when outpatient care is provided in connection with pregnancy or childbirth)
\u2013 A mother of a child under one year of age
\u2013 Over 63 years of age
\u2013 A recipient of incapacity for work pension or old-age pension under the State Pension Insurance Act
\u2013 A person with partial or no work capacity as determined under the Work Ability Allowance Act
\u2013 Unemployed within the meaning of the Labour Market Services and Benefits Act
\u2013 A recipient of subsistence benefit under the Social Welfare Act, or a family member thereof, if subsistence benefit has been paid to the person or their family during the month of outpatient specialist care or the two preceding months<\/p>

NB! A visit fee may not be charged:<\/strong><\/p>

\u2013 If outpatient care is provided in connection with pregnancy or childbirth
\u2013 In the case of an internal referral within the same institution to another physician or equivalent healthcare professional
\u2013 Upon referral by a physician to another physician of the same specialty (including referral to another healthcare institution)
\u2013 Again within 365 days if the physician or equivalent healthcare professional keeps the patient under their own follow-up or treatment<\/p>

NB!<\/strong> If a patient fails to attend the appointment at the agreed time or cancels the booked appointment less than 24 hours before the start of the visit or procedure, the healthcare service provider has the right to charge double the visit fee at the next visit (Health Insurance Act \u00a7 70 (6)).<\/p>
