Attending the examination

Parking is available in the Ülemiste City district in parking zone EP90 and in the Valukoja 7 parking area (zone P2). 2 hours of parking is free with a parking clock.

Ülemiste City can be reached by city buses No. 7, 15, 45, and 65 (stop: Valukoja), by tram No. 4 (stop: Ülemiste, see timetable), and also by train (stop: Ülemiste).

During a health examination or physician appointment (located at Sepapaja 12/1 (Health Building 2), 4th floor, Ülemiste City), a medical history (anamnesis) is taken, followed by examinations and consultation.

For an exercise stress test, please bring:
– sportswear
– clean sports shoes
– washing items and a towel (optional)

On the day of the exercise stress test, a specific dietary regimen applies.

  • Up to 3 hours before the examination, drinking coffee, energy drinks, or tea, as well as smoking, is not permitted.
  • A light meal is required at least 1–2 hours before the examinations begin.
  • It is not recommended to perform intense training during the couple of days prior to the exercise stress test.

Blood tests must be taken at the laboratory of Terviseuuringud.ee’s cooperation partner, SYNLAB.

  • Blood tests must be taken at least one day before the physician’s consultation, unless otherwise agreed with the physician (for example, when attending an evening appointment, tests may also be taken on the same day).
  • Blood samples can be taken at the laboratory Monday to Friday from **7:30 to 15:00**. We recommend giving blood for analyses in the morning between 7:30 and 11:00, before breakfast (fasting, without eating or drinking).
  • The laboratory is located at Veerenni 53a (see the map below). It is also possible to give samples at other blood collection points (view all blood collection locations).
  • After registering for the health examination, we will send the referral to the laboratory. At the lab, it is sufficient to state your name and Terviseuuringud.ee (no payment is required at the laboratory).
  • There is also no need to pre-register for blood sampling at the laboratory, as samples are taken on a walk-in basis. Please allow approximately 15–20 minutes for the process.

If you wish to provide samples outside Tallinn, please inform us when registering for the health examination by indicating this in the additional information field.
